To make changes to your site outside of sitemaker you will first need to publish through sitemaker. Then you can download your files with an ftp client and make changes on your local computer. You will then upload the updated files to the server replacing the sitemaker versions.

** NOTE ** If you use SiteMaker again after this, to make ANY change to the site and publish it from SiteMaker, it will overwrite your custom changes.
