Expression Web

I'm using expression web to modify my website but am curious if anyone has loaded it to the host yet and how you go about doing so. This will be my first time uploading information to a server like this and am not familiar with it. I'm assuming its uploaded to the root folder via FTP, but not 100% positive. Expression Web also has the publish tool built in but not sure how to use that either, any hints would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
