    Default Timeout/500 Error

    I have written a page that uses cfhttp to retieve a rather large XML feed. It works on my testbed server - but throws a 500 error on HOSTEK. I have even embedded a <cfsetting requesttimeout="1200"/> to try and get by what appears to be a timeout issue. As I cannot see the error logs, it's a bit difficult to troubleshoot any further.

    To see the error occur, go to: vaporware-inc.com/TheRentals/index3.cfm

    Please advise as soon as possible as to what the error actually is...

    Please try this now as I have white listed this script within SeeFusion.

    Default Ok

    Ok - it appears to be working (at least not throwing the 500 error anymore), so my next question becomes:

    When I integrate this call into my CFC - what will I need to do in order to insure that the CFC doesn't fail when making this call? It will only be making this retrieval once per day (which I will cfschedule)/or onApplicationStart (if the application sits dormant for more than 48 hours) and then save off the retrieved XML for use throughout that day.

    Hi, my CFHTTP request is also timing out from the Hostek server but not from the local test server. The end server that is supposed to process a XML file does not even get the post. Any ideas?

    Code:
    <cfhttp url="http://23.22.150.161/" port="8080" method="post" result="calcresult" timeout="120" >
     <cfhttpparam type="xml" value="#shipmentdata#" />
    </cfhttp>

    Hello, I have tested the cfhttp code on the server and it's currently timing out. Our support team is currently looking into your issue via the support ticket you submitted and will reply back to you shortly.
