Default How do I generate a CSR for a SSL certificate for my Linux VPS not running cPanel?

If you are not running cPanel, to generate a CSR for a new SSL certificate follow these steps:
    1. SSH into your server
    2. Run the following command:
(note: replace domain.com with your domain name)
      Code:
openssl req -nodes -newkey rsa:2048 -keyout domain.com.key -out domain.com.csr
    3. Fill out the requested details

This will generate 2 files, domain.com.csr which is the CSR and domain.com.key which is the private key.
