NOTE: yourdomain.com should be replaced with the domain name you would like to use as the DNS hostname.

1 - Setup the DNS A records ns#.yourdomain.com and ns#.yourdomain.com pointing to the IP address of our nameservers in your DNS zone. This is usually provided either in the email sent to you with your account information or from within your control panel. Below is a list of our our common name servers used for "whitelabel" DNS.

(WCP hosted accounts and VPS/Dedicated accounts)
ns1.hostek.com - 64.37.66.145
ns2.hostek.com - 216.15.198.134

(Cpanel hosted accounts)
ns3.hostek.com - 65.175.112.209
ns4.hostek.com - 74.127.47.237

(Helm3 and Helm4 hosted accounts -Helm accounts being migrated to WCP; either set of IP's will work)
ns5.hostek.com - 216.198.218.144
ns6.hostek.com - 65.175.112.228

2 - At your registrar, register the custom name servers you created in the DNS zone in step 1.

Here are some video tutorials on setting up custom nameservers at the registrars.

3 - After you have both created the DNS zones, and registered the DNS you should wait 24-48hrs before pointing any new domain added to your new custom nameservers.

4 - If you would like to point your own domain name, make sure ALL the DNS zone records exist or are created for yourdomain.com, especially the ones setup in step 1. Then change the DNS for your domain to point to ns#.yourdomain.com and ns#.yourdomain.com.
