View Full Version : DSN Password Disable in windows control panel

September 6th, 2011, 08:48 PM
Hey guys,

I created a DSN and put in a name and password.

It works the first time, then the next time I try to call a sql script, it says "Caused by: java.sql.SQLException: Access denied for user 'my Database username'@'database IP' (using password: NO)"

So I go back in to the DSN preferences in the windows control panel and my password is disabled. How can I access the coldfusion administrator site so I don't have to deal with this mess? If I can't, can you please stop this from happening for me?

Also, please don't give me instructions for dream weaver, I don't have that program.

thank you for your time.

Access to Coldfusion Administrator is disabled on our shared servers for security purposes. You will need to make sure that when making changes to the DSN that the password is re-entered before clicking save. If you are still unable to connect please let us know your domain name, database username, password, and the location of the script in an email to [email protected]
