I'd like to know what would be the best strategy to use to install wordpress on my site (benshelden.com). I plan on taking down the present site and replacing it with something else, but I still want to keep it on the Windows operating system.

Here is some information that might be relevant:
In my Windows Control Panel there is a PHP Settings under Website Settings. Is php already installed?
Under Site Details, my IIS version is 6 (which means I can not use Web Deploy).

What would you suggest?

Hi,

PHP is already installed on the server that is hosting your site, so you are ready to use WordPress. The easiest way to install it would be to install Wordpress through the Applications section of your Windows Control Panel.

Please note, before using the WordPress installer, you'll need to go ahead and create a MySQL database for Wordpress to use. You can do this via the MySQL section of the control panel.
